After breakfast we went to buy some fruits for the next day's roadtrip to the Grampians. Fruits galore
This guy was yelling "cherries for sale, cherries for sale" in such a sing-song manner it got stuck in my head for a while...
After QVM we took the tram to St Kilda.
St Kilda is this area in Melbourne city that's perfect to spend a Sunday morning just chilling at one of the streetside cafes, enjoying a good cuppa, reading, people watching, basking under the sun. It's basically near the beach and the atmos there is soooo relaxed people juz walk around barefooted. They look like they juz rolled out of bed, grab their car keys and then drive off.
There's supposedly an amusement park (that looks dead) - Luna Park - the gates were closed when we trudged past it.
There're also these quaint lil bakery shops in St Kilda that sells pastries, tarts, biscuits, what-nots. Check out the mouth watering window displays:
We settled at Rococo Cafe for lunch. Good food, good atmos, good company, what more could I ask for? ;-)
Very good food! Sauteed mushrooms, salad (again), oven-baked pizza (that we couldnt finish and dapao-ed for dinner).
After chilling at St Kilda for the afternoon, we headed back to the hotel to have an early night. Our dinner was pretty pathetic - leftover pizza (nonetheless good) and the fruit tart we bought from one of those bakeries in St Kilda. Super shweeet.
